At the outset, I must point out that we did not stay in the hotel, we just visited the restaurant. We chose the El Mirador whilst staying in Broto as we wanted to visit a restaurant that was a little more Spanish, it was allegedly only 600m from our hotel in the main village but I 'm thinking that was probably around 60% inaccurate! Anyhow, we found the restaurant and immediately had a language barrier to overcome and due to what I can only assume were colloquialisms on the menu, Google Translate was not much help. Luckily, with our very patient host, we managed to work out a rough approximation of each dish and made our orders. The food was fantastic and in abundance, salads and grills were flavourful, well prepared and presented and despite the language barrier we were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the company and service from the staff. Due to the amount of food we consumed, we were rather glad of the walk back to the hotel. A great experience and a lovely location, I 'd be tempted to stay in the hotel on my next visit too.
Fuimos a celebrar el aniversario de nuestra pareja, a hacer la noche allí y luego disfrutar del parque de Ordessa y la montaña perdida, todo un éxito este restaurante hotel, el personal muy amable y servicial, la habitación con vistas muy frescas a la montaña y la temperatura de la habitación genial, súper cálido, lo que más impresionó fue la calidad del menú de la cena, tan pronto como vimos la carta en la recepción decidimos quedar a cenar allí y he dudado
21€ pp set menu was great value...choice of 4 starters, 4 mains, dessert, glass of wine and bottled water. Menu changed daily ..usually a fish and pork option. We ate here every night of our stay...great food and no worry about driving home after too much wine....recommended highly
Excellent and cheap food and a LOT of it ; and It was made by a chief that looked like he loved his job .... and liked to do it as good as he could... we payed 15€ each for 3 excellent servings... with wine and water... and served with a smile on white tablecloth...!!!
