I’ve walked past this place several times and was drawn to the atole de maíz in the pictures since I hadn’t had it since childhood. I also ordered a chicken enchilada, but unfortunately, both were disappointing. The atole tasted like plain sugary water. Definitely won’t be coming back!
The person behind the restaurant is a genuine culinary artist, and her dishes are simply delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, creating the ideal setting for a leisurely meal. I highly recommend visiting and tasting the food for yourself - you won't be let down!
This restaurant is only mediocre, offering a limited selection. I had the steak, but the beans were lacking in flavor, and the Pico de Gallo didn't stand out. On a positive note, the pupusas were delightful.

DELICIOUS!! The torta was amazing! The pupusas were also excellent, served with a green hot sauce that adds a perfect spicy kick.
I initially intended to visit the deli next door, but I chose to stop by El Nopal first and explore their menu.
Absolutely amazing food. Polite and friendly staff. Definitely going back probably every day . Good job.
