I have been to the Nou Antigo for lunch and dinner. Dinner was an excellent experience. Set menus was 27 euros I think, wine not included, and very good value at that price. The restaurant is a charming traditional farmhouse type building with a lovely exterior patio for lunchtimes and warm evenings. The food was all prepared with real attention to detail, for the main course we both had rice dishes which were are real stand out choice. The lunch menu I had more recently had all the same quality with 3 courses for 13 euros. I think this is the best value lunch menus I have had in the local area this year. Highly recommended.
Nice building, staff was friendly until we had a problem with the main course. The starters were good but the main courses were poor in quality and size, the salmon we ordered was nouvelle cuisine size (or maybe smaller) they served us a very small portion of the tail end of the fish that was mainly skin and it tasted not fresh at all!!...no vegetables or potatoes were offered to go with the main. We also ordered desert which was OK. Had to go to another place to have some tapas as we left feeling hungry!!!....we were a party of 4.
we went to the restaurant by chance, arrived at 8pm in Teia, restaurant opened at 8.30pm, so we were the first guests this evening. restaurant is very beautiful, perfect style, very friendly staff (even if we don't speak spanish). we had a delicious dinner and a very good wine for an absolutely reasonable price. we'll eat there again the next few days before we have to leave the region.
