We were looking forward to a high end dining experience but this ended as a huge disappointment. Starters were decent but getting to the main course we got an overcooked beef, cod that was so salty that it was not edible and ,luckily, two decent...dishes(salmon and curry. We were hoping for at least a nice finish to the meal thinking we may have been unlucky but we quickly learned the kitchen are not able to deliver as promised. The desserts were tasteless and did not even look or tasted homemade. And if you add to that lousy hrs to wait for main course! well not a very good experience. We ate here on my birthday and the service and food was amazing. We felt special and the staff were very attentive. During our holiday we also booked in for Sunday lunch, it was the best afternoon/evening with live entertainment, a trio who were excellent...and Frankie B who was having as much fun as we were. Very engaging! The food was delicious and the service first class. Highly recommend it, although a bit more expensive than we would normally pay, it was excellent value, our table was booked for pm but we did did not leave until pm and at no time did we feel we should vacate our table. The wonderful el oceano's' never disappoints us. I wanted a suprise birthday here for people for my partner's special day, people turned up and they did everything to accommodate us) and boy did they deliver... nothing was too much, the service was...impeccable and the food was as always fresh and delicious. Brilliant atmosphere, wonderful people and the music had us on our feet...We are already booked for our Christmas party! Well done and thank you for everything xxx

A friend recommended this restaurant. It was really worth the visit. The food was amazing. The presentation, taste and mix of flavours was fantastic. I had the Lamb for main course and it was cooked exactly as expected. The crispy duck salad for starter was...different and very tasty. The staff are very professional and attentive. The live music was great and the setting over looking the sea is stunning. No faults at all here.

We have just spent an idyllic afternoon! The food, as always, was exquisite, the service was exemplary and the setting unbeatable. We are always at a loss to understand how this is the rated restaurant in La Cala, as it’s the best by a...mile! Granted it is not cheap, but it is excellent value for the experience. You must try it at least once; like us you’ll be hooked!

Had lunch for for about euros. Beautiful setting with a great sea view. Excellent service and food. No complaints as you get wat you pay for here. Super clean just and great all round. All of our food was well presented and tasted...great. One of the best meals that I had in Spain in years.

El desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena son muy buenos y la zona es maravillosa. Desayuné en un día muy ventoso y fue increíble estar tan cerca del mar. Los tratamientos de spa son perfectos, el masaje fue excelente y el tratamiento facial especial es difícil de encontrar.

Un lugar fantástico para visitar. dos veces en una estancia de dos semanas y le encantó. Se sentó a almorzar y se quedó todo el día. excelente comida, servicio brillante y ubicación increíble. empaqueta todas las cajas y recomendaría sin demora.

Hace dos semanas fui con mi hija a almorzar un domingo, habíamos reservado la mesa con vista al mar y estuvimos muy cerca, disfrutamos de unas vistas impresionantes. El servicio y la comida fueron impecables, ¡enhorabuena!
