El Padrino - Reservar una mesa

Looks to be everything we wanted. Slightly away from the crowd, nice quiet street. The food, average, although the grilled grouper fish was very nice. Main let down was Fillet steak with pepper sauce (sauce from a packet, very salty) asked for Medium rare steak, it was well done. Not at all pink. Too hungry to complain. Came to pay bill was €68.09. Older looking waiter made a very poor attempt at being shortsighted holding the bill out and squinting his eyes. Somehow he managed to enter €88.09 into the card machine and then asking “ok”? NO .. Not ok, there are much better places to eat in this fab town. This place avoided 1 star because the grouper was good as was the house red wine.

We visited this restaurant on a recommendation from some people we met. Had the various fish in a pot dish (sorry can't remember what it was called). An excellent meal. Also had the house white wine which was good. Service friendly and efficient. Just be aware that they will charge you for the bread they bring you, either leave it or politely decline it.

This is a very good restaurant, if you ask me. I have visit this restaurant in many times, last 15 years, and always get excellent food. This time when I visit the restaurant, they have a new young girl, in the kitchen as chef, and she give us very good food I will come back, when I visit Puerto de la Cruz again.

Delicious food, excellent service, relaxed ambience. We ordered the Canarian potatoes with mojo sauce and garlic prawns to start. Absolutely gorgeous, then sirloin with bearnaise sauce, mushrooms and chips. We will definately be visiting again (and again).

excellent food, service and location my favourite dish was the pork medallions in mushroom sauce a must try for lovers of pork with sauce lovely atmosphere went back for the same dish 3 times
