I?ve been coming to this taco spot outside of Englishtown Auction for over 10 years. The food is amazing and truly authentic. There are multiple generations of the same family working here. Yeah, the kids that serve are young and it is probably theirfirst job ever. This isn?t McDonald?s, take you time when you come here. It?s very busy for a reason. The practice of collecting and reusing the small salads or any other items served at each table is not just unappetizing but also completely unacceptable. I've often seen people eating directly from the shared bowls, and the staff appears unconcerned about it. Given that we are still dealing with a pandemic, it's evident that safety is not a priority for them. I observed the staff taking these salads, putting them back in the fridge near the counter, refilling them by mixing different bowls, and then returning them to the tables. Health Department, where are you?
The food at El Paisano Taco Truck is fantastic, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. First, it's always packed. The young waitstaff, who seem to be college students, lack patience when dealing with customers. For instance, one girl gave me attitude when I tried to add something to my order. They also mixed up my order—I only received my drinks correctly. On top of that, it took me a full 30 minutes just to get the bill. Since the seating is outside, we were all bored and frustrated, almost leaving without paying.
I always choose the lengua, chorizo (which is the best I’ve ever had), and pancita rellena tacos, as long as they haven't sold out. This family-owned restaurant offers food that exceeds any other taco spot nearby. The tamales are also fantastic, and I love to add some salsa rojo that's available on every table. Terrible experience last weekend when I went with my family. We ordered a consome, and it was extremely salty. The fresh waters, which were supposed to be cold, weren’t cold at all. This will be the last time I visit this place.

I had a very unfortunate experience with this food truck, as I ended up with food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'm currently dealing with severe stomach pain and diarrhea, and I'm feeling really awful.
