We have been visiting El Peixet at least 2-3 times a year for 8 years... It is our restaurant par excellence. We have tried many of the dishes on the menu and... It never disappoints. The octopus is always delicious, either Galician style or with alioli. The calamari, tender and with a batter and sauce with a very particular touch of lemon. The cod tears with romesco are delicious, the fish croquettes drive my son crazy... The off-menu dishes they offer have always been successful, especially during calçots season. The rice dishes are the best we have ever eaten, whenever we feel like good rice we know where to go, they are all 10, always perfect. The food, the service, the place... Everything is perfect, and may it continue like this for many more years.

We didn't have to wait at all because it was a weekday, Wednesday, and we had booked in advance. The terrace was very nice. Attentive and very educational waiters. Thanks to them we have learned that white wine is not given to taste; which is only done with the black if it is chopped. Good food First a seafood casserole with lots of very good rock mussels, and less Vilanova prawns, clams, scallops and razor clams. good As a second course, rice with prawns from Vilanova. And for dessert an artisanal nougat ice cream. All washed down with water, beer and a white wine from Costers de Segre made with Garnatxa and Alvariño grapes. To finish coffee with ice. We were two diners and we paid 100 euros.

We ordered some calamari as a starter and then some Senyoret rice. The beginner cook's squid: pure frying spoiling the main product. For the main course, the rice that has been repeating to me all afternoon. The fish base (cuttlefish, mussels, shrimp... , overcooked, leaving a final taste of refried or long-cooked base. Not bad, the following. Even that **** rice is better for me. The only thing passable was the dessert that the restaurant didn't make because it was frozen. For my part I will not recommend it nor will I return.
