El Pescador - Reservar una mesa

We stayed in this hotel and thought we’d try the restaurant, having already walked down (and more significantly, back) to the port earlier that afternoon. We’d read reviews about unfriendly service, but our experience was very different. The staff were cheerful, smiley and attentive. The food was delicious. We shared the stuffed baby squid in black ink sauce and some wonderful, sweet-tasting grilled langoustines. The portions were vast. We had a reasonably-priced bottle of local white wine and a large brandy and ice-cream to finish the evening off. It was around £30 per head which we thought was good value for the quality of the cooking and service. This restaurant clearly has a huge local following. It was packed for its Sunday lunch service. Book if you are planning to eat then.

This is clearly a family run restaurant, and they run it well my friends. They know their product and select the best of already excellent seafood and fish. They prepare them in a simple, honest, traditional way, the wine list is great and matches the quality of the dishes. If you want to try proper Northern Spanish food, served by welcoming staff at a fair price, this is the place to go to.

This is a good local restaurant. we ahd delicious fish dinners here followed by tasty local ice creams and deserts. Portions were enormous! Staff were friendly and there was a nice family atmosphere in the restaurant.

Very bad experience. Very high prices for poor food quality. We asked fresh tuna and they brought us tuna roll with a minced tuna paste... Very very bad

Make it a priority!! Absolutely perfect dinner! So glad we came here. The door was perfect. Google translate helped as we’re from Scotland.
