I recently visited El Pollo Loco for the first time, and it certainly won't be my last. I was really impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. I ordered a chicken salad with avocado, and it was not only satisfying but also refreshingly light. I plan to make this a regular stop on my weekly dining list while I'm traveling.
The food was excellent, and the service was great. The chicken was cooked perfectly with a wonderfully crispy skin. I ordered two thighs, flour tortillas, and a tea. I really enjoyed the blend of their two types of unsweetened tea; it was delicious! Unlike other places, it wasn't watered down or weak at all.
