Just outside of Salento, this restaurant sits on the route leading to the Valle de Corcora. When we drove by on the way to the Valle de Cocora, we remarked how it must have amazing views so we were delighted when our travel companions for the day decided to have lunch there as well. Perched on top of a hill, the restaurant offers unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and valley from both an indoor dining room and a large covered terrace. The specialty here, as with many of the restaurants in this area, is trout and its reputation is justified. We had the trucha champiñones, which was a delicate, juicy and flavorful trout split lengthwise and pan fried to perfection and then covered...
Ubicado en el tradicional pueblito de Salento, Quindío, este restaurante fue un hallazgo único. Mientras disfrutábamos de una deliciosa trucha en salsa de camarones y queso parmesano acompañada con plátano frito dorado, pudimos disfrutar de la magnífica vista del exuberante paisaje verde de los Andes. Una maravillosa elección no solo por su deliciosa comida, sino también por la atención especial de su dueño.
Located close to the beautiful town of Salento in Colombia and amid the wonderful green of the Valle Corcora this is a beautiful place to eat. The food from local produce is good and the staff in particular the lady manager cheerful and efficient. The views from the restaurant are magnificent.We went on a Sunday lunchtime in a group and had a memorable time.
Buena comida, excelente vista del Valle de Cocora. Es un lugar muy popular, así que suele estar concurrido y es posible que se queden sin ciertos platillos. La trucha estaba deliciosa, al igual que todos los otros platos que pedimos. El té de frutas estaba exquisito. Sin duda, detente allí si estás en Salento. El servicio también es bueno.
