March 5 2023 was one of my favorite restaurants. I ordered the other day notice they charge extra for cheese on their tacos. I said oh OK I won't walk three blocks away open my food. There's no cheese. I called them back just to mention it she pushed me on hold for a fairly long time. Finally somebody else and says I was in the kitchen. There's cheese on those tacos. I said you want me to bring them back because there's no cheese on these tacos as you can see that is that is white cheese and I said well there's white sour cream and there's no cheese are these tacos and what you said there's cheese on those tacos I was so put off by his attitude I don't know if I ever go in there again I was...

It wasn't just the lack of attention from our assigned server; our second glass of wine was poured much smaller than the first. We found ourselves making two trips inside just to ask for chips and salsa after watching other tables on the patio receive theirs. They had initially run out, and a runner was serving the tables as soon as the chips became available. This wouldn’t have been a significant issue if our food hadn’t taken such a long time to arrive, as we were quite hungry. Wow. Let me try to say this nicely! First of all, I've been to this restaurant in Chelsea 4 times, before this last visit. And the service and food were amazing! But this last time, whew chile....terrible! For starters, the waitress was rude, from jump! Her Tone, her facial expressions,...yikes, wish she wore a mask!! I ordered a ? Margarita, in the glass with the wide rim. I even pointed to the photo of the drink! I told her, NO ice! Do you know, since I requested no ice, she gave me a small glass!!! My boyfriend told me to check her, but I was too hot! The steak came out super red In the middle. The portion side for the rice, wasn't even enough to feed an ant! I wasn't going to leave a tip...

What I received was boiled, unseasoned chicken on a bed of lettuce, topped with just a dollop of sour cream. It was bland and completely devoid of the essential components that make a taco salad enjoyable—no tomatoes, onions, avocado, or guacamole, and absolutely no spice. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but I would advise skipping the taco salad unless you want to be let down. Even the free chips and salsa weren't worth it. The service was just okay. El Potro was an unexpectedly delightful find. It has the classic Mexican ambiance we've been searching for. The chips and salsa were spot on, and the guacamole tasted incredibly fresh. We tried the pork tacos and an enchilada, both served in generous portions and bursting with flavor. The churros, filled with dulce de leche, were among the best I've ever tasted. The service was quite good, and our food arrived promptly. We will certainly be returning time and time again.

The staff were friendly, but the margaritas tasted diluted and lacked flavor. After sharing a pitcher, my two friends hardly felt tipsy. The guacamole was bland, and most of our meals looked like they were served in a 1-star restaurant. This was particularly disappointing considering the high ratings. Additionally, the prices seemed a bit steep for the quality of the food. We won't be coming back. Service: Dine in.

I wasn't able to sample the food since we left before our order was taken. We waited 8 minutes for someone to come and take our drink and food orders. We felt that if the service started off like that, it would likely only get worse from there. When we left, there were six employees just standing around in the front.

We stopped in for a few drinks and some appetizers, sitting at the bar. It wasn't crowded at all. The bartender was attentive at first, but frequently disappeared. Atmosphere made me feel like I was home, food made me happy dance and seeing the waitresses interact and have a good time made my heart happy. from California..Ended up coming back shortly after my meal for a couple drinks and still had pleasant service with an awesome bartender

Lazy service. Bland food. I asked for queso and they brought out cold cheese. I don’t know if you all are aware but presentation is important, they didn’t even try. Not worth the money or my time. Will not be returning.Food: 1/5
