El Puerto - Reservar una mesa

Went here as we were staying at the hotel, did plan on going the Saturday evening but they had a private function on which wasnt advertised until the day of the event which was a little annoying so ended up eating Sunday instead. Food was nice quality but definitely different to the norm which is what they state. You need to order 2 dishes each as its more like a taster menu or having starters as they're small portions and mine averaged €20 each so plan around €40 each plus drinks. Would say not the place to take young children as we felt like we were put in a corner to be out of the way which was slightly annoying when you're paying the same as everybody else. Para empezar, cuesta un poco llegar a ella, pero el restaurante vale la pena. La comida es algo totalmente reinventado y sabroso. Ofrecen platos diferentes a los que se utiliza, ya que son mucho más elaborados. El servicio es excelente, los camareros le guían en qué platos elegir según sus gustos y sus precios. El restaurante está muy bien decorado, tiene un aire del puerto y es agradable, así como la música, que estaba en el volumen perfecto y en consonancia con el medio ambiente. Tapas style restaurant which is set on the marina, with beautiful decor. Our first dish was fantastic fish chips (actually fish crisps), but unfortunately, that was the best dish we had. The rest were beautifully presented but were either not very flavoursome (prawn crepe with bland satay sauce), or were extremely messy without the taste being worth it (pork taco with ground popcorn topping). We also had the Bao Buns, my partner liked them, I have had better. The cocktails were nice though, as were the very attentive staff.
