Above all, a great praise to the waitress and the host who were both very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is very cozy and the restaurant is very cosy. The food was very good and appealing. Especially the tomato bread surprised me more than positively. For food you have to be patient, but it was still in the contemporary framework. I think prices are not too expensive. (For drinks, appetizers and main dish espresso and tip: 26€ As a definitive minus point, I must mention the missing data collection for tracking a corona infection chain. I also find the hygiene concept (seat place distribution etc... not ideal. I can recommend the restaurant and hope that the criticism is accepted.
I have come across some Mexican food restaurants in Germany and I have yet to come to at least a decent one. I guess if you have never had real Mexican food then you may like it. Every Mexican food place I have been to at least has Margaritas. I asked for a margarita and the waiter stared at me like I was crazy. They do have cocktails which are decent. I ordered the tacos...big mistake. They come in a corn tortilla shell (stale) and have ground beef with a salsa that tastes like spaghetti sauce. Like I said before if you have had real Mexican food then you will be disappointed.
Super Beautiful restaurant with good and nice service! Also the music was very fitting and not too loud. The prices are a little high. Also, for example, the tortillas cost extra which is unfortunately not mentioned when postordering (3,50€). However, the same thing I think is not quite correct. The nachos were okay. The sauce, unfortunately, too little and much too liquid. All in all, the food was great, the drinks tasty and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately only cash payment. BW and Volksbank are about 700m away for emergency.
Zunächst einmal ein großes Lob an die Kellnerin und den Wirt, die beide sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend waren. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und das Restaurant sehr einladend dekoriert. Das Essen war sehr gut und ansprechend angerichtet. Speziell das Tomaten-Brot hat mich mehr als positiv überrascht. Da das El Zapata sehr gut besucht ist und das Essen frisch zubereitet wird muss man den Abend dort genießen und sich Zeit lassen. Was aber nicht schwer fällt, denn die Atmosphäre, das Ambiente und die Bedienung ist gut. Das Essen ist hervorragend! Somit lohnt sich die Zeit definitiv! Ich gehe dort zu verschiedenen Anlässen regelmäßig hin und werde das auch in Zukunft sehr gerne tun!
Essen ist dort generell super, außer die Spareribs. Stimmung ist auch super. Der Chef persönlich kommt noch vorbei und schaut nach den Gästen. Störend ist nur, dass wenn man nicht weit weg vom Eingang sitzt, dass neue Gäste ununterbrochen am Eingang einstehen und auf freien Platz warten. Einer der Kellner weiß immernoch nicht was ein Mund-Nasen-Schutz bedecken muss.
Essen lecker Cocktails lecker Hammer Seife ABER bis man die Getränke und das Essen bekommt vergehen Stunden! Wir saßen fast 2 Stunden und haben das Essen noch nicht mal gesehen! Wir hatten dann aber als Wiedergutmachung eine kostenlose Cocktail Runde bekommen. Der Service könnte etwas koordinierter arbeiten und ein bisschen Mitdenken.
Can only recommend the restaurant. Good Saturday night. The restaurant was well visited. Operation was super friendly and always in place. Eat a dream. I can absolutely recommend. New visit is guaranteed. And who comes from 10:00 to 18:00 can get delicious cocktails at 5.00€ the glass.

Eat delicious cocktails delicious hammer soap ABER until you get the drinks and the food will happen hours! We sat almost two hours and haven't even seen the food yet! Then we got a free cocktail round as a restitution. The service could be a bit more coordinated and a bit remembered.
