El Rey De Oros Mexican Salvadorian

We only live in this area for 2 months each year, and we were looking for a great Mexican restaurant. We found El Rey De Oros Restaurant on Google Maps and it quickly became our top choice for Mexican food in Northern Philadelphia. We ordered several quesadillas along with some Pico de Gallo guacamole for a light meal, and it was the freshest and most satisfying we've ever had. Absolutely excellent! We can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu in the future.

I recently tried Mexican Coca-Cola, nachos with carne asada, cheese pupusas, and steak tacos at this restaurant. Everything was incredibly delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. I can't wait to return and explore more menu options on my next visit!

authentic authentic authentic authentic authentic! no matter where to visit, my aim is to try local tacos. el rey de oros is top notch! big lengua tacos and don't forget the delicious pupusa. If I'm ever back in town, I'll be back in any case! tha ks for a delicious meal.

eating was not a real Mexican food taste or good. the flesh was not the best, and the chiken was shredded tiny, I mean for the price they expected a little good. the service was excellent tho, and eating came very fast. Reserva una mesa ahora

First time coming here. Came here based on the reviews only. Food was fantastic! Absolutely coming here again. My only regret is that I’ve been living in the area for 6 years, and am only finding out about it now.

Love this little place! Fun decor, super clean and friendly, helpful staff. Great authentic menu and drinks as well as things for the picky eaters, burgers etc.
