El Rincon Boricua - Reserva de mesa

The food was outstanding! My sister-in-law was visiting from Iowa and was craving some great mofongo, so this is where we decided to go. We had it served with arroz con gandules and pernil, and we also tried the alcapurrias. My son opted for a pizza empanadilla. I can confidently say that everything exceeded our expectations. The mofongo was soft and moist—definitely not dry like we've had at other places—and had the perfect amount of crunch. The alcapurrias were a bit lukewarm but still quite tasty. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

This place was recommended to us by our surf instructor and it did not disappoint. I ordered the La Torre and the Maspostaeo rice was the best I had on the whole island...I kept trying to at more restaurants but nothing compared to how delicious it was here and the steak was flavorful and tender as well. Waitstaff was attentive and we were able to communicate well enough with our limiter Spanish and their limited English. Would 100% eat here again if ever in the area.

I used to have great experiences here before the pandemic. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the portions were generous. However, now I'm getting only half the portion of plantains, and the food quality has declined. I ended up throwing away my last two takeout orders. So, I've decided to make my own meals instead.

I got a ham and cheese sandwich and the sandwich only had one miserable slice of ham , 2 weeks later I call to place an order of the same but I did explained the person what happened she just laughed, then when I got my sandwich it barely had 3/4 of ham slice smh Reserva una mesa ahora

Had a pernil sandwich added fried egg to it , I know that’s different but I’m pregnant and it was AMAZINGGG!!! The meat was super fresh and so was the lettuce and tomatoes , total was $12.50 which is a great price for a large sandwich .

Excellent! They made me feel at home. The food was delicious. One of the best yuca mofongos I’ve ever had. Tony (the owner) was the nicest guy. His staff was very nice as well. I was in town for business and I will be back for sure!

Best Puerto Rican food I've had from any restaurant in this area, 10/10 recommend, staff is great, food is delicious and very well priced, always consistently good.

Sandwich Jibaro was really good and carne guisada with arroz con gandules was very good too. The portion was big too.
