Mexican food cooked fresh like home You 're not wrong about that! The rice tastes exactly like my boyfriends mothers rice (He confirmed it too lol) The breaded chicken was yummy! It had so much flavor, I didn 't even need to add the green sauce. The redsauce was sweet, my boyfriend enjoyed that more while I enjoyed the spicy green sauce. The beans were okay. The lemonade wasrefreshing. The best part was the churros! So warm and crunchy. The filling was good along with the sugary coating on thechurros. The caramel dip was so good! I took off a star because the menu wasn 't updated. The churros were 1.50 on the menu wehad but it was actually 2.00 when we got the check. I checked on the online...
First time ordering from here.of course everyone wants to try the latest trend, birria. If this is my first introduction to birria I am not pleased. I ordered the tacos and the flutas.Flutas came with brown lettuce on top. And no it didn?t get likethat cause it was placed on top of hot food. It had to be brown before they put it on top. And the birria dipping sauce wassuper watery.NO THANK YOU TERRIBLE. Oh and the horchata is also very watery
I live on Long Island, but I'd happily make the drive just to eat here again. They offer a great selection of vegan options, and the vegan birria tacos were absolutely amazing—definitely a solid 11/10. Everything we ordered was delicious, served piping hot, and incredibly fresh.
Food is good but very overpriced. You can go to any other Mexican restaurant nearby and get the same plates or entrees for cheaper and it will be of the same decency or better. I like the food but with those prices it's overrated. Plus this place reviews sucks.

I ordered a burger medium rare and got it be on well done. I order truffle fries and got something out of a freezer where Parsley was throwing. I ordered through doordash and spent 20 on the burger and 10 on the truffle french fries. It was horrible.
Tacos were not fresh. Nachos were bland and soggy. Never again. Edit- these guys run multiple ghost kitchens in grubhub and ubereats. Beware, food will be terrible.
I ordered the Birria tacos.. not fresh it was very stail like it was someone else?s ordered and sold it to me.
The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. Chubby Vegans On the Go is definitely worth a visit!
