Must have if you are in the Hempstead area. Busy corner location with few spots of single seating inside. This is the only place I will order pernil! I ordered the baked chicken lunch with rice, beans, plantains and vegetables on this particular day. I was happy to see they had Manzana which I brought home for my son. Food is always fresh, delicious, reasonably priced, big portions and service is quick. A line forms during lunch hours so go early! I was around the Hempstead area and i always prefer a Dominican place for the tasty food they make. This place have good food but the service is the worst. I asked a question to the girl in the counter, i thought she was going to give me a slap. They make faces if you ask any question. They should get new people only to give a better service. So good!!! The food is absolutely delicious! I had the red bean rice with chickens and sweet curtains. The chicken fell off the one mummy. The rice is so good, even if it's white ground rice. Besides, I got the fish with black beans and rice. The flan was perfection for dessert! Large iced teas and other drinks such as passion fruit and lemonade with Spanish soft drinks are also offered.
Delicioso!! Food is amazing, service is very friendly and great value. They can get really busy during lunch but they do their best to accommodate the rush. Don't expect to go there and sit comfortably with a group since it is a very small location with only a some booth-like seating.

I travel to the Dominican Republic a few times a year to visit friends/family..when I'm in town i stop by here to pick up some delicious tasting food.. this is definitely one of my favorite places to come
Great food, just call ahead of time to place an order. I dont recommend walking in around lunch time as they get packed and it's a fairly slow moving line. Portions a big, tasty food and amazing prices.
Love Love Love anything I ever tried was good. Well the the lettuce for the salad sits in a tub of water all day and that's not the greatest idea. Prices are extremely affordable
