The place was great when Lupe was there more often but had a problem with a new waitress tonight. She charged me for 9 margaritas. I told her there was no way I could have drunk 9. I counted. She refused to take them off. I am going to dispute the charge, once it has posted. Also, the last few times, the tables were not cleaned and washed, which is a big concern of mine since we have Covid. When Lupe and Raquel were running the place, it was good. There is one good new waitress but now she isn't there as much. Also, another concern was allowing pan handlers to come in and bother the customers. I was a good customer but won't be back because of how I was treated.
Quick little stop to satisfy the munchie urge. Great choice. Was easy to get in br seated. Order taken quickly. The fresh chips and salsa was great. Tried Horchata for the first time. LOVED IT!!!Had 3 steak tacos for $5, for my entree. Great choice. They were perfectly sized and filled me up. I didn't eat for the rest of the day!!I will definitely return to try some other menu options. My meal companions each had the Steak Fajitas, and both were satisfied and stuffed!!I also tried the Flan. Was really good!!!
I really do root for this place. The food is slightly above average and it's a great location in downtown East Point. However, they don't have a website. No online menu. No one ever answers the phone. Hours are inconsistent. Service is generally terrible once inside. However, the food is solid. PLEASE improve, El Rocio. The community would support you to no end if you ran a competent business.
Out of the top three Mexican restaurants in the Tri-Cities area, this place offers the most authentic experience. The tacos are fantastic and they claim to have handmade tortillas, which are the best around. The margaritas are delicious, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes!

1st time here, if you're looking for authentic Mexican taqueria, this will disappoint. Overall the taco menu is very limited, even though the lunch prices are very reasonable. Flavor was okay, not great. I could give them a higher score if I tried the other items on the menu but I'm strictly looking for a taco spot on the Southeast side
Really great and friendly service, awesome salsa which of course chips and salsa on the table while you wait. THE BEST fajitas, prices cannot be beat. you can eat for two with a drink for under $40. Really extensive menu. This place is a gem. Has parking, there's rarely a wait, and the people are just really nice.

I recently dined at a Mexican restaurant that served chips and a mild salsa for each guest. They offer traditional Mexican cuisine and have a la carte menu, with tacos priced at about $2.50 each. The bathroom was clean, and they have a bar where guests can order adult beverages.

I found this restaurant based on Google's recommendation, and they were spot on. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be returning.
