El Sarape Mexican Cuisine And Tequila

Were able to get seated quickly with no reservations right at the start of dinner rush. Has a rustic decor that's subtle yet complimented the cuisine and let you know what you were getting into. After living in Arizona for 4 years, I've developed a bit of snobbery around Mexican food, and have found few places in the area that can do it justice. El Sarape does it justice and then some. Had the fish tacos which were the perfect blend of toppings to add a little texture and compliment the fish without overpowering any of the flavors. Came with a chipotle mayo sauce and a Taquero sauce that added plenty of flavor and a little heat, without burning out your taste buds. If you like Mexican food and you haven't been here yet, try it. You won't come away disappointed!

Restaurant was clean and inviting. A ?jazz band? plays there every Thursday starting at 6pm. Staff was helpful and friendly. Decided to try their Watermelon Margarita. Not the best Margarita but it was good. Ordered nachos with chicken. Plenty of food but a bit on the dry side. The fajita quesadilla was tasty. Wouldn?t mind coming back to try dinner entrees.

This place has the best Mexican food I've ever had. Truly authentic food made to perfection. I've never had enchiladas but after 1 taste of theirs I was hooked. The mixed drinks are especially refreshing and very strong. I ordered the ahem 32oz margarita which was delicious but expect to spend 40$ for it.

The entrees were SO good! The grilled salmon ceviche special was probably one of the best grilled salmons I?ve ever had. The fish tacos were really crispy and well cooked on the inside. The service and staff there is great and super friendly. Would def recommend

Relaxing atmosphere and elevated Mexican cuisine with impeccable service. The outdoor seating area is also beautiful.
