my family and I had the rez beef taco and the lengua torta and one of the specials. I started with a h. not complaining. all were delicious. they are separated with water, but can take a bottled beverage from the refrigerator. I have only negatively that it is difficult to get into the area through the small food business. we almost did not want to give this place even a chance. but, glad that we have done it, and there are no examples of the courts to get an idea what they will get. I think if that improved, this little gem could really shine and business would boom. it's a nice little place hidden in a plaza. I would not have found it if I did not search for authentic Mexican/Hispanian foo...

The people are super friendly. The tortas I would recommend! They also sell manteca which were we're from was hard to find, so that's a plus! Their chips are amazing and are great for chilaquiles. They also sell the bread for the tortas too! Service was great. Only gripe that I would have is the day we decided to eat in, the waitress did not inform us of the specials (we were unaware there were any), we overheard her telling another patron and it sounded good, but we already ordered. Avoid this place! I bought maseca flour here for $7.29, but I can get it at Walmart for just $1.99. I was trying to support a small business, but I feel like I got ripped off instead! The pricing here is ridiculous. There are no prices displayed on any of the items, and you can't even see the prices while being rung up. Then they ask if you want a receipt? I suggest giving this store a miss.
