Food wasn’t good. Just taste like “white people trying to make Mexican food”. Was looking for authentic Mexican tacos. Chicken tinga just tasted like sloppy joes. Was very disappointed they didn’t have yellow rice. They served white rice with black beans. Rice wasn’t cooked.This is the only way I can reply to you.I wasn’t rude to my server. Such delicious food! And what great service, too! This is a modern Mexican and BBQ place, and they really do it well. I ordered the Beef Taco Combo, and it was so good. The tacos were overloaded with meat and taco fixings. The meat was delicious. The beans and rice are black beans on a bowl of rice. Very refreshing yummy. It came with a fountain drink, too! What a great value! The waitress was so friendly and checked in on me often. Very welcoming and caring. The prices are fantastic. Affordable for nearby college students, and appealing to their families. I will definitely be back!
Very good quality food here! You're going to want to try the cornbread, it's got this cake-like density with the sticky sweetness of a good cornbread. When I thought I was going to be Team Brisket, Team Pulled Pork recruits me with the slow cooked Smokey delightfulness that my tastebuds were treated to. Chips and guacamole are made in house, and very good...but save room for the tres leches cake. Holy moly. I should have taken 2 home bc I was sad I had to share with my husband! A definite must try and worth the trip!
The meat was decent, but I would say it definitely wasn’t anywhere close to half a pound. Unfortunately, we won’t be frequent visitors. The coleslaw was served warm with the meat, which didn’t work well. The broccoli salad was quite dry. We didn't receive any chips for our dip, but honestly, it looked unappetizing, so it ended up in the trash along with the mac and cheese, which had a terrible aftertaste and left us both with upset stomachs.

Live local buy local. Dine in or pick up orders, the quality and service are always excellent. El Toro has been consistent since they opened and even through the struggles of these last 2 years. Our faves are the Cuban, the fries, quesadillas, nachos Barbacoa Mexicana and don't forget a Margarita and finish with Flan. You will not be disappointed.
My husband and I visited this restaurant and were the only customers there, which made us a bit skeptical at first. However, we ended up loving our food! The chips were fantastic, and we were especially impressed with the red salsa. We both enjoyed our meals—brisket nachos and brisket mac and cheese. I would definitely recommend this place!
The ambiance leaves a lot to be desired. Very dated, like from the 70's. The guacamole was pretty good, not as good as I would have expected and portion was small. The mixer for the BYO was also average, not worth the money. The smoked meats were great. Burrito bowls were good. If I go back, it would be for takeout for the smoked meats.
Excellent experience. Unique take on some awesome southwestern dishes. I've had barbecue like this in Texas and New Mexico before. The smoking is of the meat really hits home. If you haven't visited this establishment... Make it a priority. Carne tacos are tops! Brisket was moist and super smokey. Chicken was large and tender.

I enjoyed the most delicious nachos and tacos! I can't wait to eventually sample the entire menu. This restaurant is Millersville's best-kept secret!
