El Tucan - Reserva de mesa

We dined at El Tucan for the first time this evening, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We had Aubrey as our server, and she was so friendly and gracious. The menu had a lot of delicious sounding options, which made it difficult to make a decision, so we asked for her recommendations. Let me tell you, she did not steer us wrong! My parents ended up sharing the Pineapple Chicken, which was an incredibly unique and tasty dish. I went with the Chimichurri Steak which was juicy and cooked and seasoned to absolute perfect! Parking: The restaurant was pretty busy as it was Cinco De Mayo but the food did not taste authentic at all. I had higher expectations as they have 4.3 star's and after a day at the beach we wanted to have a “Mexican Cuisine”. I was kind of shocked that this is even considered a Mexican Restaurant the food could have been more seasoned and why was every dish from the appetizers to the main course all covered with Jalapeños I tasted more of Jalapeños then anything else that was on our plates like??? and the drinks were WAY too strong.Food 6/10Parking 4/10Employees 10/10

Don't let the decor fool you. Beyond the exterior, the stickers, and the dos equiis the food is about as Mexican as I am. And I am as Caucasian as you can be.

I highly recommend the steak and shrimp fajitas. You're probably going to need a reservation if you're going for dinner anywhere between 6:00 and 7:30 Reserva una mesa ahora
