Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with six people. We waited 40 min for a table and thought this is a good thing if they were this busy. After being sat we quickly figured out why there was such a long wait. In all the travel I have done I would be hard pressed to find staff more useless then this The front deck hostess has to be related to the owner become nobody would employ someone this complacent. My friends and I recently had lunch at this restaurant. There were some good and not so good aspects of our experience. Despite making reservations in advance, we were informed upon arrival that the outside dining area was closed. We were unable to reserve a table for the Boardwalk and were not allowed to switch from inside to outside seating. After some confusion, we were finally seated with a lovely view. The waitress was friendly and the fish & chips and chicken club were tasty. However, the Caesar salad was disappointing - served in a small bowl and limp. This is a great place to get a view of the lake. But the service! We were told we would have to wait 30 minutes for a table; it was 60 minutes. The table we were placed at was designed for 6; we were 8 and no extra chairs could be provided. The table centre had a camber, so drinks fall over (to cover a fire pit?); drinks fell over. When the drinks fell over, no server came near to help; this happened twice. We were left alone for long periods; servers had to be sought out to place order etc. As for the food? Quite ordinary really, if a little expensive. Not recommended.
I am continuously amazed that even restaurants like Earls do not cater well to children. However, the Lakeside Dining Room provided our family with exceptional service and the food was outstanding. The kids ordered a burger and a homemade alfredo pasta, which our server promptly brought out for them. My wife and I savored the perfectly-cooked scallops, my rack of lamb, and her vegetarian dish. The ingredients were top quality and the flavors were phenomenal. While this place may be a bit pricier than others, it offers great value and is definitely worth it. Reserva una mesa ahora
My dining experience at this restaurant last night was fantastic! Our waiter, Jarrod, was excellent. Although I usually don't like fish, I decided to try the swordfish based on his recommendation for the perfect wine pairing and I was not disappointed - it was delicious! The scallops we shared as an appetizer were also amazing. The view from the restaurant is always beautiful. We will definitely be returning!
Imagine it's 10:00 am and you are sitting by the edge of Lake Okanogan , ducks swimming a few feet away, an eagle soaring high above and a view of Mission Hill Winery four kilometers across the lake. Mmmmm, great food, great cappuccino two hour brunch. That's the Hotel Eldorado. Rest . Relax, Enjoy
This is the closest I've eaten next to the lake. Almost fell in. View from the boardwalk seating was amazing. Fish tacos and chicken arugula salad were very good. So was the service. Lunch is good value for money. If you like outdoor dining, this is a must. Reserva una mesa ahora
