I liked the old location much easier to locate and to park, al la carte menu vs prix fixe, better wine and cocktail program. Skip the “wine pairing” pre-selections $110. They wont tell you what the wines are until they “introduce” each one with each course. Thats not exciting, its a convenience for the restaurant, a con on the diner. Artsy plating, fresh ingredients , good execution. 6 courses Id happily order again if I could (no ala carte). Too many soft and slippery textures: mushrooms, squid, madai, fluke, etc. Service is careless or indifferent, they couldnt find the $220 wine I ordered from the list, but didnt slow the rush of courses, and there’s an undisclosed 20% add on service char...
Elements was the first experience I had with fine dining tasting menus nearly 10 years ago, and having gone back the other night, I can confidently say that they have managed to set the bar even higher. From the moment we walked in, we were absolutely floored by the hospitality and service (extra thanks to Caroline! . We did the 15 course chef's tasting menu, and Chef Anderson's care and craft was evident in every single course. I will be dreaming about the dessert course for years to come. 11/10, go eat here as soon as you can.
We arrived in the US from Paris a year ago, and this is the best restaurant we have been to since we arrived. We loved it. The food was excellent. It was our wedding anniversary and we were given a card signed by all of the people working there, which was a lovely touch. I would have preferred slightly slower service seems like a strange thing to say, but as there are so many courses, it would be nice to have a pause from time to time, but overall, we were really impressed and loved our experience at Elements.
Excellent food quality, taste, presentation. Plenty to eat, so come hungry. Expensive, but you know that going in. The decor/ambiance of the restaurant needs a face lift felt average and too barnish. I don't care for peolpe with multiple piercings and ink; I think such detratcs from the experience I am paying for. Reserva una mesa ahora
The chef's tasting (15 course) meal at Elements was astounding. I work in the culinary field and have had the honor of dining at some spectacular places--Elements takes the top prize. The variety of the courses paired with the exquisite plating makes this trip to Princeton well worth it.
