Eleos - Reserva de mesa

We were looking for somewhere for a late breakfast that wasn't a chain coffee shop. The cafe has the decor of a former insurance office vibe that said it offered good value, had breakfast wraps, unusual, or panini. They also offered two sizes of coffee cup not the standard chain coffee shop big bowls. The staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely revisit when next in Chard.

We called in on the spur of the moment, decided on a croissant with jam and a cup of tea. The jam provided was really delicious with whole strawberries and the croissant served warm with butter. This is the second time we have visited Eleos and I can't praise it enough. Each time the food has been first class and not expensive which means we can come more often!

Now under new ownership and run by the manager Sharon, you cannot go to a better coffee shop in Chard. Wonderful friendly atmosphere a varied menu and a great selection of drinks. Sharon has a good memory for customers names which makes you feel more welcome. Elios is my No1 cafe, and just to add they have just won an award for Cafe of the Year .

Really lovely place, a modern cafe with crochet cup covers! The food arrived hot and with plenty of butter for my hot tea cake without having to ask first, service was so quick and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. Coffee ,cake and milkshake is where this place is at, really great coffee. As for pizza I would go elsewhere dough is dense, stogie the dough isn’t like a normal fresh pizza dough and not the best. Stick to what your good at id say.

Went here due to reviews. Glad I did. Staff lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Pizza piping hot and tasty. Quick service would use again.

Always come back to eleos. Such a great, affordable and relaxing place to go. Coffee is amazing and food is amazing too. Would recommend.

Ordered one flat white as never been here before, quickly ordered another after tasting the coffee, great flat white coffee

Good coffee and very friendly staff, food is very basic though, panini, tea cakes and crumpets. But all freshly prepared.
