Elephant Castle - Reserva de mesa

Driving past, looked nice from outside, popped in for lunch, nice back ground music playing, appeared a homely pub, pub grub food at reasonable prices, Food took 50 mins to arrive, like they had gone out to slaughter a cow, or pluck a chicken! even tho pub wasn't busy) when food finally arrived was home cooked and nice, but should of been informed of the delay from the start, otherwise would of ete else where, locals at bar got an apologee, we didn't!

Enjoyed an excellent fish, chips and peas with Prosecco on Friday for the Fish and Fizz night. First time for me at the Elephant and Castle. Cooked freshly, staff, first class and friendly. Afterwards, sat in the beer garden to finish the Prosecco which was very pleasant. Must try a Sunday roast soon. Highly recommend!

Prebooked lunch part of 14 people. Arrived to a freezing cold pub, why didn't you put heating on? We sat in coats. A paltry effort at lighting a wood burner as we were leaving. Many items missing form the menu. Very slow service. Had I not been part of a large group, I would have walked out.

After waiting for quite some time and not being acknowledged by the one person behind the bar. i finally got my drink and then asked for a menu only to be told Kitchens shut The bar tender then just walked off swiftly drank my drink and left, wont be returning Reserva una mesa ahora

Awful experience. Left after not being acknowledged or served. 1 bar staff just slowly chatting and serving at snails pace. Not sure they needed more staff just more energy from the staff there as the place was not busy

Just popped in for a quick pint of Old Speckled Hen, and it was awful. Flat as a pancake, and served by a barmaid, who was uninterested. Didn't seem that friendly to a new customer.

A great family pub, very friendly and helpful. Great food and excellent beer. Lovely play area out back for children and always lots going on. Highly recommended

Went for quiz with friends. New chef. Excellent goulash and incredible value for money. Great atmosphere- friendly staff. Reserva una mesa ahora
