There are literally no words to describe how incredible this restaurant is. From the moment we arrived, the table looked like it was a painting. Absolutely gorgeous. Every course was met with all 8 of us looking at each other in shock. How could something...be so incredible and unique. Especially after eating at amazing restaurants all around the world. The service was as good as the best restaurants you've ever been to. The presentation of the food was OUTSTANDING. And the chef even came out at the end and we all gave him a round of applause it was just SPECTACULAR. We flew from Brisbane for a 40th birthday and it was the best decision ever. all the dishes prepared by the chef were unique in taste, combination of ingredients and presentation. it was very hard to evaluate the top as all dishes were super prepared. we loved everything. the service and the ambiente are no longer available. beautiful view,...beautiful place. it is an inexpensive option for a celebration, but we think it is worth paying for every dollar for the experience. it will certainly be a more difficult place to beat in South Australia, or even in Australia. what a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon! even if our visits here are regular, the cook never disappoints and always refreshes the menu, so there is always something new to tan the taste buds! despite the menu change, the consistency of the extraordinary food comes. from the kitchen never changed! it is as if they were in the menu forever! the delicious food is only made better with the most outstanding service and these spectacular look! we will continue to visit and we will continue to be highly recommended! thanks team Maxwell’s!
Maxwells is set in a beautiful vineyard with lots of parking. The interior is fabulous, lots of windows to appreciate the views, lovely fireplace. The staff go above and beyond you'll feel welcomed and valued. The chefs are magicians a degustation menu that...is simply perfection. There were 6 of us celebrating and we look forward to revisiting.

EXCEPTIONAL! This restaurant is one of the best dinning experiences I’ve had in all of South Australian and definitely should be Hatted! The degustation is not to be missed, this is next level and would rival the best in the country! The wine is incredible…...I can not rate this restaurant highly enough. Our very best experience on our SA trip!

We came here to the restaurant (Ellen Street Restaurant), as I had been wanting to try it out for quite some time, and my partner's birthday was a great
eating, weeping and the staff were all extraordinary. this is not to be missed and we will come back to experience this again.
