Our group of eight visited Ellies Bar twice during our week in Mayrhofen. The first night was fine, slow and understaffed, but acceptable overall. The second visit, however, was extremely disappointing. When we went to pay, the man behind the bar refused to provide an itemised bill and claimed it wasn’t possible without paying first. After several minutes of back-and-forth, he finally showed the breakdown on a tiny card-machine screen and then made an unnecessary comment implying I wouldn’t remember what we ordered. The total €187 including tip) was correct, but the attitude and refusal to give a proper bill were unacceptable. We still tipped 10% because the rest of the staff were perfectly...
We'v been there the 4 days we stayed in Mayrhofen. Good food,Great atmosphere,fair price are things to mention. But this Brazilian waiter (Taigo) make our days and nights the best while staying in Austria. Always with a smile and taking care of us almost like a friend. Congrats Ellies for being the best place in Town! We'll definetelly come back
Very disappointed experience. I ordered one dish, got another one which was cheaper. I decided not to challenge the waitress, but asked to make sure that it is correct on invoice. At the end she claimed that this is kitchen fault and left more expensive dish in the bill

We actually wanted to eat here and stepped in and waited for 10 mins inside near the door to be seated but no one seemed to care to even ask us anything even though they saw us. Also don't know if we were treated differently since we were non white.
Der Chef der unter aller Würde ist im allgemeinen wäre das Lokal sehr gut vor allem dann wenn die Chefin im Haus ist ansonsten ist ein Stern ausreichend
Ordered online to pick up. Burgers were tasty, portions were generous. Staff were friendly and food was ready quickly
Rude owner. Had a reserved sign for empty seats. Was a total jerk. Made anti American comments. Stay away.
