First visit for an anniversary dinner and was very happy with everything. Was impressed by not only the 2 Difference Vocal Happy Anniversary Callouts, but also the signed card on the table. Our server Niko(sp?) was very attentive and helped by the food restrictions to ensure that we had a pleasant dinner. Website menu was quite different from in person so was disappointed not to get to try the Wellington, but still a good experience. Steak was a little overcooked, but still delicate and tasteful. Elk was phenomenal. Also highly recommend the truffle Scallop appetizer. Will definitely make the drive for some special occasions again.
Just the gourmet restaurant we were in the area. Preisy (streets are $30-$50), but the quality and flavors are amazing. Many ingredients come from NC farms. Waiting staff were charming and service was excellent, on par with what a restaurant should offer in this price class. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the red wine through the glass was warm, and there was only 1 vegetarian duck. Overall creative and tasty.
This place is exceptional. From the quality and taste of food to the service and the environment, we have absolutely loved and recommended it here. It is a 5-minute drive from the village, but it is worth it. Every dish we had was fresh, inventive and full of taste. This will be our place of food when we're in pinehurst.
