This is a quintessential local neighborhood spot, completely free of pretension. You won't find any tourists here. The karaoke with Holly on Fridays is fantastic—she's an absolute sweetheart. The sandwiches are hands down the best in the city; you have to try the Black Forest and prime rib sandwiches! Make sure to enjoy Oscar's company; in my opinion, he’s the best service industry professional around.
Fantastic food! The prime rib sandwich was outstanding. The atmosphere feels just like a wonderful classic neighborhood bar, filled with regulars who are more than willing to greet newcomers. I’ll definitely be coming back, and it’s not just for the delicious food!
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the sandwiches were. The service was excellent; Tess did a fantastic job ensuring my drink was always full and kept the conversation lively. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

This is a great place to grab a burger for lunch and play some games of pool. Each table costs just $0.75 per game. Keep in mind that smoking is allowed, but the venue is well-ventilated, so it shouldn't be an issue.
This is a cozy and welcoming local spot. I actually stopped playing pool here because I was so impressed with the service and the overall vibe. On top of that, I even won a game! I might give it another go soon.

The drinks were priced at $30 for two, apparently because of Tennessee's double liquor tax. That's quite intriguing... but not really appealing.
