Elsa - Reservar una mesa

We wanted to try a top restaurant on our Monaco trip and decided on Elsa based on a Michelin Star and delicious reading tasting menu. We were the first to arrive on what turned out to be the last day of the season, the terrace...was closed so we ended up in the bright and art deco esque main room. The staff were superb all night and never too intrusive despite the restaurant never filling up. We opted fro the Tradition tasting menu, starting with the Bio Sama which was fresh but a bit plain. Have a long dinner with 4 colleagues, the food concept the presentation and the menu is confused. They charge a lot but don’t offer premium dishes like fillet of beef or seabass or lobster. They offer cheap cuts and cheap fish but they charge way...too much. The food is not great and we would never return. The place is usually empty and it takes ages for the food to come out of the kitchen as if the chef had forgotten.

strange menu. over price and strange menu. Tasteless eating. it is a wonderful location, but completely under use and a stupid concept for a restaurant. the coworkers try hard, but eating is totally waste. they never visit elsa, it is a total waste of time and money.

what a wonderful place. eating is extraordinary. fresh, natural and local. presentation and service were also first class. everything was perfect.

very average eating in a very average dining room. it is a scandal as the cook certainly deserves. was extremely ill in the night
