Elsbethenstübli - Reserva de mesa

We came here as a family several years ago and really enjoyed it. This time there were 11 of us so we booked for 7.30pm on Saturday. The restaurant was almost full when we arrived and the only spare tables were reserved. The atmosphere was lovely and the food delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they had. No one had fondue but this seemed to be a popular choice with other guests. Tram 2 stops right outside so very easy to get to from our hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Based on our experience would suggest you book for a weekend. Not sure how busy they are during the week.

Wir waren mit Freunden im Elsbethenstübli zum Mittagessen. Das Restaurant ist eine kleine harmonische "Beiz"....mit Tradition und aufgestelltem Personal.Das Essen war vorzüglich. Das Cordon-bleu aber auch das Roastbeef waren einfach lecker. Gut abgeschmeckt und das Fleisch von toller Qualität. Wir hatten ein gemütliches, schönes und gutes Mittagessen erleben dürfen. Danke

Great for anyone looking for uncomplicated traditional Swiss cuisine and ambience. Rösti, cheese fondue and relevant meat specialties available, as well as a large selection of starters and desserts. The fact that I accidentally only reserved for 1 instead of 5 using the online form was resolved professionally by the staff.

Restaurant near the center of Basel, small and welcoming. The owner is very kind and speaks a little Italian. We tasted the Fondue which was a pleasure. Prices are in line with Switzerland But if you're in Basel it's worth trying their signature dish Reserva una mesa ahora

Perfect! The food wad delicious, the service was great, the place was warm and cozy during a cold raining night. We had a raclette and a fondue and it's was very good. If you're in Basel, you need to stop by and taste the Swiss food there.

felt as if we were a family that enjoys a home cooked food from authentic Swiss dishes. Appropriately expensive, took a special request, something for every taste. Fun evening for new people in town.

Trato poco agradable. La comida está bien pero muy cara. Te sirven agua sin pedirla y luego te la cobran a precio de un buen vino. Reserva una mesa ahora

A delightful little place for fondue. While the fondue is slightly salty for my palate, it is otherwise perfect.
