Elsie's Plate And Pie

We sat here with the family and we all loved our food and will definitely return. It offers some unique restaurants as well as some that are somewhat more traditional. Overall, the food was very good, even my picky children ate everything on their plate. We had a Paprikapimento cheese (educated) with Baguettes and it was really good. I had the seafood pots cake and it was also delicious. I ordered an apple cake to go and it was one of the best apple cake I ever had, definitely recommend it with some vanilla ice cream.

I sat with my husband and three kids for dinner. We all enjoyed our meals. My two older children ordered the fried fish of the children with fries. My younger child had a burger and pommes. All were well cooked and offered a lot in portion size. My husband enjoyed the Natchitoches meat pieces and roasted Okra while I chose the crust fish hand pies and red beans and rice. They were both phenomenal. For Dessert we enjoyed the Cream Soda Float and S'mores pie. Yum!

EDIT!!!! JUST FOR THE APPLE PIE. I'm out here on a deployment so I love finding little gems like this place. Absolutely amazing food! We did the fried okra, and I got the pesto melt, and added chicken! So delicious! I melted with the sandwich, lol. Our waiter was ON TOP of it! From our water, to taking our orders, to bringing the food. He was right there when my partner wanted to change something with her food. Shout out to Jared!

Finally, we have the opportunity to eat here. The staff is friendly and always with a smile. The food is good. We tried the red beans and the chicken and the club. Both dishes were delicious. We also tried the chocolate, chocolate, chocolate and the rocky street... highly recommended.

Whoever thought a place with a fully equipped bar would serve cakes. We stopped and had the red pearls and fried chicken and the smores pie. Both, where excellent. Looks like they're running cake specialists every day.
