We visited for afternoon tea and were greeted warmly by both the reception and restaurant staff. We were given a box of tea bags and a pot of hot water to prepare our own tea in cups and saucers, although it was not clear where to dispose of used tea bags. The sandwich selection was good and accommodated our dietary needs, but the fillings were a bit sparse. It would have been helpful if the cling film was removed from the sandwiches and the contents were explained to us. The scones and pastries were decent but not exceptional, and we felt that there could have been more provided. This hotel has been chosen for an international meeting, the location is really special seems to go back in time. Surrounded by perfectly groomed green meadows. All around the countryside, with green pastures and farmers. I do not deny that from one moment to another I thought that a Spitfire or a Hurricane (Second World War Battle of England) made a low pass over the hotel and then landed at the nearby airport. The interior of the hotel's central body is full of history and it is not easy to describe the whole setting. Sounds like a thriller. Me alojé aquí debido a la falta de habitaciones en el Hilton normalmente me alojo. Este lugar es fantástico, lleno de historia y a un precio razonable. Las habitaciones son limpias y cálidas, teniendo en cuenta algunos de los mayores hoteles en los que me he alojado en donde la calefacción no estaba a la altura, nada de lo que preocuparse.El bar es muy agradable con hoteles precios, como cabría esperar, y la comida era estupenda, mucho mejor que la normal la comida del hotel y a un precio razonable.Sin duda me alojaría aquí de nuevo.
Este hotel tiene el factor sorpresa. A su llegada en coche por una calle larga bellísimas con césped impecable, para ser recibidos por una maravillosa casa y patio.Todo sobre el es grandioso, de Elvetham los techos esculpidos a la escaleras.Nos alojamos aquí en dos ocasiones, y también asistió a una cena funciona también. Fuimos a este hotel como una estancia de una noche. Los jardines y el entorno son impresionantes. Un aspecto muy grandioso y como una casa de National Trust. Las habitaciones estaban muy bien. La comida era muy buena y un precio razonable para la calidad que se obtiene. El servicio del restaurante fue lo único negativo 3 veces tuve que pedir algo, esto fue en la noche y en el desayuno. Así, no sólo una. Sin duda volvería sólo necesitan ser un poco más atento
Visitamos el Elvetham con un grupo de amigos para nuestra fiesta anual de Navidad y la primera vez que el Elvetham.No nos decepcionó, ya que la ubicación es impresionante, con un gran ambiente de fiesta, buena comida, y buen paquete de navidad todo con una gran relación calidad-precio.Que vale la pena registrarse en este hotel después de Navidad.Mucha historia asociado con el hotel, así que sería una escapada de fin de semana ideal.
