if they do not visit this place, something is definitiv wrong with them lol! I only have raving reviews for this place! the restaurant is family owned, black in the owned, and mama emma is vicious in the kitchen. the restaurant is definitiw something that it has with a small intimate air conditioned inside to a complete private backyard with many sitting and fire pits for warm in the cold of the night and toilets available. eating is absolutely A-1, top notch and I cannot begin to explain the comfort of eating such organic food with a perfect mix of Ethiopian seasoning and crumbling. how they can see in my photo reviews. the portions are great and since I am vegan, I always eat the same when...

We specifically wanted to experience authentic Ethiopian coffee, and we were not disappointed. Emma went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant time, even taking the effort to educate us about the culture and the community aspect of sharing meals with loved ones. After our meal, she toasted the coffee beans in a pan to release their aroma. Once she brewed the coffee, she explained the traditions and customs around enjoying coffee as a group. Her warm and friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about a different culture, and I will definitely be back.

ETHIOPIA Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles: It’s delightful to return to warm and welcoming places like Emma Habesha in Inglewood. Although things might move at a slower pace than what city dwellers are used to, if you take a moment to relax and embrace the atmosphere, you’re sure to be pleased. The matriarch, who takes charge of the cooking, may also come to your table to help with the ordering during quieter weekday lunches. Regardless, it truly feels like a family affair throughout the experience.

If you haven't visited this restaurant yet, you're really missing out! I can't say enough good things about this place! It’s a family-owned, Black-owned establishment, and Mama Emma’s cooking is truly exceptional. The restaurant has a cozy, air-conditioned interior and a lovely private backyard featuring plenty of seating and fire pits to keep you warm on cooler nights, plus restrooms are readily available. The food is absolutely delicious! Reserva una mesa ahora

We enjoyed the fish and the tibs, which were both very flavorful. However, the dish was quite spicy, so it might not be suitable for those who are sensitive to heat. We also had a side of lentils that were my favorite! Even if you’re not a coffee drinker, you should definitely try the traditional Ethiopian coffee – I usually prefer tea, but I really loved the taste of this coffee! I can't wait to come back in the future.

I'm at a loss for words. It was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine, and I couldn't have picked a better spot! The staff were incredibly friendly. I'm typically not a fan of lentils, but the red lentils were absolutely delicious—definitely a must-try! I also tried the honey wine, which was very smooth and even better because it’s house-made. It left me feeling quite relaxed. I will definitely be back!

First time here and definitely will not be the last. Amazing service and atmosphere. The lamb stew is a must! Emma's spices really made the dish 1000x more flavorful. So glad I came across this whole in the wall restaurant, expectations were very much exceeded! Reserva una mesa ahora
