Since opening my office on Market Street, Emma's Snack Shop has quickly become a favorite spot of mine. They primarily serve cold sandwiches and salads, but I have a particular weakness for their chili cheese dog. To balance indulgence with health, I often pair it with Emma's Avocado Salad—a perfect blend of flavor and nutrition. You must go here if you're planning on coming from or going to LAX. This is honestly a great area to hang out with lots of quality food. But Emma's Snack Shop is my favorite. Pastrami sandwich, sausage breakfast sandwich, chicken salad, spinach wrap,chili cheese Fritos, green smoothies and juices (add banana). Get it all. Emma is also the sweetest person and I was thankfulto have met her. Definitely try this place out.
Emma is incredibly friendly and makes everyone feel right at home! The food is fresh and delicious. I especially love the chicken salad, chicken nachos, and grilled chicken salad. Portions are generous too. Her sandwiches are the best, offered at great prices. You can choose from a wide variety of meats, breads, cheeses, and veggies with no extra charges. Emma's sandwiches easily surpass Subway—delicious and healthy!
The staff at this restaurant is very welcoming and hospitable. There are many menu options to choose from, but I can personally vouch for the deliciousness of the pastrami sandwich - it's the best one I've ever had. Definitely a place worth checking out!
