I rarely leave reviews. This experience warranted my time!It 's been a few years since we stopped in on our way to Colorado. The place has changed in a negative way. The barmaid gave us a menu that looked low-end. My wife asked what a Rez Mama was? A patron next to her heard the question called us racists! Whatever that 's was about?I ordered a beer it wasn 't that cold. I 'm certain they aren 't on ice anymore. My wife tried the Rez Mama. I asked for a cold glass. Didn 't get one. Mediocre service. My husband and I usually don't frequent bars, but we've recently been having a fantastic time playing pool at Empty Pockets! The staff is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the locals are lovely. The new owners have been very welcoming too! It's quickly become one of our favorite places to relax, especially on Monday nights when the food truck is around! A little bonus—drinks here are quite affordable compared to other bars we've visited, and the mixed drinks were just right for my taste. Plus, they've just added 12 beers on tap!
Us siblings journeyed to Holbrook for a view of a property nearby. The property we viewed turned out to be disappointing. However, we made the best of this little town to visit. We stopped in Empty Pockets Saloon and met Coleen, the Bartende. She also works at the DMV. Wow! She was very cool. We had a blast playing pool and listening to music. A great time. The only downside is no barfood. Not even wings. Ouch! Most likely, we won't be back due to not living close by. But it's a great place for locals.
As I was leaving, I noticed the same man outside with a group, taking shots near my car. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and couldn't get away fast enough. As a single woman, I didn't feel safe at all. I won't be returning here alone, and I doubt I would come with a group either. Just a friendly warning for other women—be cautious.

It's become low class. The menu is poor taste. They aren't friendly to tourists. They need a bouncer. Pool tables aren't to be sat on. They need work I wouldn't put a quarter in those antiques they're ruining. Good luck folks. You're going to need it if you can't make it with just your locals!
This is a late-night spot where both locals and tourists gather. It could use a bit more energy, but the beer is cold and affordable. When I visited on a Monday, there was also a food truck outside for those who enjoy having food with their drinks.
I've heard about this place for years. I finally stopped in passing through town and was snubbed by their snooty bartender. She couldn't even count my change! The crowd was a bit rough and intimidating. Can't recommend this place.
We're a spanish couple doing the route 66, and I can say that's the best saloon ever. The waitress is so kind, peole are polite and charmy. Prices, are ok. They have variety of beer, and if u want u can order chiness food.

We were just passing through and stopped in Holbrook for the night. We found this little bar fun and friendly. The people there treated us like long time regulars.We recommend this place for a fun evening out.
Wonderful friendly bar. Mikey Bud...head coach of 2021 NBA Champ Bucks grew up here too.
