We ordered a loaded toast with avocado mash and veggie toppings, although they were out of the corn salsa, the owner suggested that we top it with chickpeas, and we found it delicious!  We also ordered a waffle with the energy boost, toppings suggestion, and we also enjoyed that thoroughly!  we ordered two cookies to go, and oatmeal raisin and a double chocolate chip. Soooo good! So decadent! Maybe since 2021 when the earlier reviews were written , things have changed. We really loved our selections and look forward to returning and trying more things. My kids and I drove three hours to visit Emy's in July before they closed for a couple weeks. It was such a rewarding experience, and once again, the customer service was exceptional! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back in October. Recently, my husband and I took our four kids for dessert before lunch and we were thrilled with our experience. The food was truly amazing, and the generosity, hospitality, and kindness from the staff made this hidden gem stand out. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area again. We were pleasantly surprised that we only paid around $30 for seven generous desserts. The outdoor seating area was a nice touch as well.
We were curious to try this bakery/restaurant because there were a couple mixed HappyCow reviews. However, we quickly realized those were pure blasphemy! The food was delicious, with tons of options! There were all kinds of baked goods, waffles, smoothie lattes, smoothie bowls, etc. Plus, Emy provided delightful customer service! Apparently, they even ship orders during the colder months, starting around September. Even if you do not live nearby, check their website to order a treat shipped to you for the holidays, or even just for fun. Also, the location is easy to get to, and they have a parking lot, along with plenty of outdoor seating. Highly recommend!
Emy (the delight) offers the pretty sight of vegan cupcakes and more (the bites). A vegan for ten years, she is absurdly friendly, knowledgable, patient, generous, highly creative and loves to make gorgeous treats from alternative flours and sugar. I am normally not a fan of gluten free baked goods, but this place was amazing! My husband and I stopped here twice on vacation and enjoyed everything we had: acai bowls, loaded avocado toast, salad, a cake pop, several truffles, a few oat bars, a cookie, and a brownie. Yum!!!! It was nice because there were both healthy and non-healthy options : Definitely check this out if you are in the area.
I saw all these reviews where people are dragging this place, but I had no cause for complaint. My girlfriend and I stopped here on a road trip. I got my smoothie bowl needs met, she got a sandwich, and we made some scrumptious selections from the abundant display case to take with us on the journey. Was very pleased with the experience!
My partner and I had an amazing time at Emy's! We felt like we were in heaven and wanted to buy everything in sight. The owner was extremely friendly, nice, and understanding. Must-try items included the avocado toast, smoothie bowl, truffles, and chocolate-covered Oreos. We will definitely return the next time we are in town!
