Holy cow, this place was incredible! Found it as a recommendation on Reddit. We got a lot of food because we couldn’t decide what to try and it was all amazingly tasty. Our server (forget his name) was very helpful as well. We got the dumplings in chili oil and steamed buns for appetizers; my partner got dry pot chicken (so tender and I got the tofu fish filet (chef’s special). The tofu was very very hot and I burned my tongue, but that was my fault. We also tried the Dan Dan noodles at the server’s recommendation (do try them! The peanut and spice flavors were great). All of the dishes were perfect and unique. We will be back.

DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS PLACE!!! NEXT LEVEL SPICE AND FLAVOR!!! NOT YOUR RUN OF THE MILL American- Chinese ! The nicest staff I've ever encountered! kitchen, wait staff, and owner checked on our table often as we completely devoured everything we'd ordered. For spicy lovers: Order traditional level spice or above (Great place for a Let's see who folds first spicy challenge) They've got the good stuff! For Flavor lovers: Order ANYTHINGThe chili oil sauce that bathes the dumplings in chili oil should be sold by the bottle...as a drink...it's that good. Next time you're in SoNo and looking for flavor a relaxed ambiance, STOP IN!

I am very pleased to report on this location. I have tried Chinese restaurants all over the world, including hongkong. this place is really authentic and tasteful eating, not the blanching American Chinese food they see in 99% of the CT restaurants. my wife and I went to lunch and were blown away how delicious the dishes were. try the pork hot pot..wow in medium spicy that was much spicy. we've been looking for such a Chinese restaurant for 8 years since we moved to ct and carve out everywhere. we are looking forward to returning with the children as a family. highly recommended as the best Chinese restaurant in ct.

My favorite place in CT! I’ve been here and ordered from here 4+ times and I will always continue to go back. The food here is amazing! Tastes just as good if not better than places in NYC! Full of flavor and everyone is so pleasant there. I love the ambience and the vibe!-Alexander Weber

This place has legit real Chinese food (dry pots, etc) but also American Chinese. They will make it super spicy if you want so be careful how hot you order it if you don’t like real heat. Good happy hour at the bar also!

Very authentic Sichuan food, and this is coming from a native Sichuan person. This is our default Sichuan restaurant when we have cravings for Sichuan food. Highly recommend.

Dry pepper style fish filet- 10/10 here. Get it every time for take out and it's always served piping hot and within 15 min. No pics, already

The food tastes delicious overall; however, one entree wasn't as fresh, as we noticed the noodles sticking together.
