I understand why Marriott properties get rid of the table clothes during the pandemic. but it really brings the atmosphere of a beautiful steakhouse into the “hometown buffet” atmosphere if they don’t have it. I noticed that fleming did the same. it approves the atmosphere. that is good for burger king, but no upscale restaurant. the towel also helps to absorb noise. there are many hard surfaces at this place and we sat beside a large, loud group. it was hard to hear even the waiter. someone got a promotion for this decision, but I personally find it approving their product and destroying the intimacy of places like enosteak. that was okay. my filet was not a high quality cut. actually it wa...
Love Michael Mina restaurants and the Stone Hill Tavern at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Beach was spectacular. Eno Steak not so much. The restaurant is small, just off the main lobby towards the entrance of the hotel. It’s elegant, well decorated, and boasts a visually stunning wine room, but has no views. The menu was adequate but not very robust. Prices were reasonable given the setting, but IMO the food selection and quality was on the lower end of what I’d expect from a Mina restaurant. Service was excellent and we enjoyed the meal, but I wouldn’t recommend or return.
enoSteak gave us a great table, to celebrate my wife 's birthday. Ambiance was very romantic and quiet. My wife really enjoyed the prime rib and I had the filet which was also excellent and cooked precisely to our request. The sides were also very good the mushrooms were great, and creamed spinach was nice. However, the salads were small at 19 each and the 40 corkage fee we felt was excessive . First rate service ! Would go again for sure.....
Small steakhouse with very good quality food and good service. Outstanding French Onion soup, fresh very crisp lettuce salads with dressings, very good steaks ordered charred red warm center, finished with key lime pie and cream brûlée. Two large tables were loud and boisterous, especially after eating their meals, good to bring your in-laws or wife’s friends.
