I was looking forward to trying this restaurant because of good reviews on trip advisor and also because the chef, lisa psalm, received the title of master restorer. I am so often dissatisfied with the many frozen foods warmed and out of price that can easily be found in this region, so I try to support the restaurants that make the kitchen themselves. Due to good reviews, I was rather surprised by the simplicity of the dishes, but not really disappointed because they were fresh, unpretentious and at a reasonable price. I loved everything in this restaurant. It's my second trip from canes to eat here. These are the best snails I've ever eaten, and the duck is sublime; Perfectly cooked. the salad of green leaves was dressed with a crispy balsamic and the freshly baked bread had a hint of buttermilk to counterbalance the garlic in the cod dip. their food highlights the best of French cuisine, simple and fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked. What a great mistake it turned out to be, we took a taxi thinking we were heading to the center of mugin. When we arrived and the taxi was gone, we realized that we were far enough. We decided to try to make the most of it so we went for a walk. Although the neighborhood was largely residential, the view was incredible. we then fell on this place and decided to eat. I had scallops to start, which were simply delicious! Some of the best I've ever had. I came here with my parents on a Saturday night for dinner - the restaurant was lively and almost every table was busy. the menu is varied, but there are not too many choices - which I think is good - it means that the ingredients are fresh and seasonal. We had a chicken gratin, a camembert gratin and duck - everything was great, cooked to perfection and super tasty. prices are good too - we were really full after the main dish, no need for entry and dessert. the guests are really polite and very welcoming, and the outdoor patio is charming for dinner in summer. only bad note - the wine of the house, not tasty at all. during our first day in france, we searched for a restaurant that served French cuisine without pretention that we found at the artists' entrance. parked in the free local parking and headed to the restaurant located on the main square. the duck was cooked to perfection and the homemade fries complemented the dish. My wife had the tartiflette and our different gratan friends who were all eaten with delectation. The service was friendly and made you feel like home. the bill with a beer and a gaseous water for four was 90 euros, which seemed to us to be a good value for money given the quality of the dishes.

we were looking for authentic French cuisine at a reasonable price, we found it here. We had difficulty deciding where to eat and finally decided to try the artists' entrance, we had dinner one evening and were impressed by the friendly service and quality of the dishes that this wonderful couple served. the next night, when the conversation "where do we eat tonight," it took no more than 5 seconds to decide that we would try something else on their menu! I recommend starting with snails and anything with potatoes to the dolphin accompaniment.

I visited this place several times because it is only a few steps from the place where we stay in mugins. The service has always been exemplary. the kitchen is, without surprise, of provencal French style. Never had anything else than a good meal, often followed by a limoncello, free! the wine map has recently improved, but it would not be the reason to go, the service and the kitchen would be!

If you're from midwest like me, you've been waiting for a long time. You had this busy day on the river. a lot of beautiful sun and pleasure. Now it's time to relax. beautiful fresh bottle of rose and good French cuisine. This is the place. only a few minutes from the coast but it is enough to put you in a quiet village square. patrick and lisa will take care of you. Sit down and enjoy.

Unfortunately, nothing was exceptional. we like to order local wine but when served, the red was cold in the refrigerator and very acidulated. The steak tartare was very good but the roasted beef was medium. There was another table when we arrived but it was a very long wait to receive our food. It was like everyone was served at the same time. I wouldn't recommend it.
