**Comments:** This was our first time at the restaurant, as we were celebrating my wife’s pre-birthday with her brother, who lives about two hours away. The restaurant accepts contactless payments via debit and credit cards. My brother-in-law mentioned that there has been a change in management or ownership in the past couple of years. One thing I’m uncertain about is whether to tip on a pickup order. I did leave a $6 tip this time. As a delivery driver for Skip the Dishes, I appreciate receiving tips, though it’s unfortunately quite rare. I ordered a spicy poutine an got spicy fries but got charged for a spicy poutine.. I ordered the Ernie's platter and didn't get what comes with a Ernie's platter but got charged Ernie's platter prices... ordered a crunchy combo and the fries weren't cooked thoroughly.. I'm not very happy I pay like everyone else so I don't understand why I'm treated so badly there.. I also don't like when u prove them wrong and they laugh at you.. I believe the younger teens working there are very rude and not business like.. I love Ernie's until it seems like they don't put enough time into cooking it..for. Me anyway ..sorry I'm gonna give it a one star

Unfortunately, the service was lacking, even with three or more staff members in the back. I ordered Erni's Breakfast and tea with milk but had to get up and ask for milk myself. When my food arrived, they forgot the cutlery, so I had to go back up to the counter again. After my meal was served, not one staff member came to check on me or see if I needed anything (I was hoping for more water for my teapot and some dessert). While this place isn't really my style, I do think it has potential.

I was there last week, and ordered a chicken souvlaki. After waiting for, what seemed like an eon, the chicken was definitely overcooked and dried out. When I cut into the chicken, it was like cutting into cardboard. You can definitely tell that it was frozen and then thawed out and cooked to no ends. Will not come back again. I remember visiting Erni's many years ago, and it was always a great experience, one of the few good places in town at the time. However, now the atmosphere feels lackluster, and the staff lacks any personality. While I found the food to be decent, I ended up feeling sick afterwards.

Stopped in for breakfast while at a local sports tournament and had no issues, food was good, service was okay. We had a group of about 10 and we all sat in the same area but not together. Fair prices, no complaints.

We called in to order fish and chips, but the server on the phone seemed unaware of the menu and told us they didn't have it. If that's the case, why advertise it on your menu?
