Every year when we are on the island, a visit to the Es Cap restaurant is a must for us. Unfortunately, tonight didn't live up to our expectations, although it could easily have been done better. The service was very nice and friendly, and the ambience was nice, cozy and familiar, as always. Unfortunately, nothing was wrong with the food this time. The portions were generous, but completely tasteless. The vegetables and potatoes came from the fryer and only tasted of fat and the fish or meat had no roasted aromas, were pale and unfortunately had no taste. All in all, a pretty dreary and oily affair. It's also a pity that there wasn't a hierbas on the house with the bill, as usual.
Restaurante español auténtico, platos abundantes y bien elaborados, ¡sangría con un vino blanco espectacular! Ambiente acogedor y personal amable y simpático.

Ha perdido mucho en los últimos años, una pena porque era uno de nuestros referentes en la isla. Han cambiado varias veces de cocinero, pero la calidad ha ido a peor. La ensalada payesa, sin ninguna gracia, a 17,50 € el plato, y el arroz negro, aunque a buen precio, estaba pasadísimo. Por desgracia, después de las últimas experiencias, no volveremos. We had a bit of vegetables left over, we would throw it away later, but we asked for a tupperware and decide later. €2.50 without asking how you can see it... and then they didn't give us the change after paying (it was €4 and it was going to be the tip, but we'll have to decide if that's more or less, right? . Very good paella de pescado! In addition, there were a lot of seafood in the fish paella. Fair price € 24. Nice and attentive service. We'd love to come back!
