Escales - Reservar una mesa

The place is not bad at all, a small bar in a square. The food, most of it quite good. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. I ask the waiter, a dark-haired guy, what kind of corn cakes they have. He replies that tuna and egg and anchovy and egg. When they bring them, one is egg and tuna, but the other is allioli and anchovy, which on top of that was an anchovy smaller than my index finger, I tell him that it was his mistake and to take it with him. I didn't eat it or try it and he wasn't even able to offer me anything else, I had to ask for the menu. When they charged us, they charged us for the waiter's mistake, we kindly tell him if we have to pay it even though it was his mistake, and he tells us yes. I am not giving 1 star because the food was good, but of course we are not going back, we have paid for a returned dish that was not even our mistake.

In my case, I tried the dinner menu that they had for the town festivals. Bread with alioli, rubble, mushrooms, meatballs with tomato, tigers, montaditos, drink and dessert for 20 euros. Everything was very good. To highlight the speed of service despite how full it was. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
