I wanted to love Escondite Union, but unfortunately, I was left unimpressed. When you make a reservation online, they apparently seat you at the bar instead of a table. If you prefer a table, you either have to walk in and hope there’s space in the very small dining area or call ahead to specifically request one. The menu features very small plates. The Baja fish tacos were underwhelming, while the Korean tacos were quite good. The nachos were tasty, though not what I expected—they included fried cheese dumplings with guacamole, which was a surprising but enjoyable twist. Excellent little hidden gem in Ddo. Tapas style a little bit pricey but excellent quality delicious food. It definitely strays from the regular Mexican food but is awesome at the same time. Very cool ambiance.. The waitresses were awesome and had a goodsense of humor. Our waitress JESS was a stealthy little ninja who was able to always get the drop on me even when she didn't tryLOL
I am honestly soooo in love with their guac chips, I would come back just for that!! The vibes are amazing especially at night, music can get super loud to the point where you're yelling just to speak. A little bit overpriced for a tapas menu.Servers were good, an okay service.
