So I used to go to this place all the time. This is my first time back in a number of years. The Blue burger is still great (my husband demanded 3 stars instead of 2) but they 've really leaned into the Mexican food, which is absolutely not their strong suit. I had a beef enchilada, which was fine I guess, but had some kind of weird off flavor I didn 't enjoy. The staff is very pleasant, but our food took a long time and the prices are out of control. If you 're going to be charging me OVER $13 for a single beer, and then have the audacity to charge me for sour cream (which should really be included on the enchilada), and then add to it the fact that they haven 't had live music in a long ti...
We went to eat here this past Saturday and arrived at 7:36pm. When we went to the hostess to put our names in, she rudely said we don 't take any names after 7:30pm . We asked why and she said because we don 't . I understand that with COVID restaurants may not be fully staffed to stay open late or to cover all sections , but come on hostess, explain that. Or be nice enough to explain why without the attitude of because we don 't . I am happy to change my review once we actually eat there if we give it the chance. But this review is based off the customer service of your hostess.
We went here cause my wife had a gift card. I ordered the gordo burrito. I honestly thought it was an overpriced Taco Bell burrito supreme. It was nothing special and overpriced. My kids ordered nachos nd they were ok, kinda hard to mess up nachos. I won't come back unless we get another gift card.
We actually drove here from Las Vegas, Nevada to take our Father out to eat at Espiau's here in Claremont! We all love the Bean Tostada's! The food is always so fresh and delicious and the staff works hard to give us the Best service! Thank you for having us!

I had a great experience here. They have a nice patio with a cranking heater. The food was very delicious. You can tell the beans are homemade. The chile relleno was tasty too. I had good service as well. What more can you ask for?
I've come here before and wasn't impressed however, I got a gift certificate so decided to try it again. The fajitas were so disappointing. The meat was chewy and not tender and the portions were pretty small. Nothing special
If you like cheese... this is the place for you. My favorite are the potato tacos. The portions are large, so don't underestimate the amount you order. The chips are also the best in SoCal.
Got the fajitas. Very underwhelming. The meat was really salty and didn 't t have that classic 'fajita ' grilled taste you look for. Won 't be returning
