If you want to experience the best meal of your life, go to Essie 's, order one of their delicious cocktails (any will do), order grits croquettes (1 serving per 1-2 people), the earth-shatteringly delicious pork loin over a melange of grilled corn, broad beans, red peppers, and bacon, and end the evening with the stunning 'melon berries, ' which consists of amazingly light fruit sorbets, watermelon, ground cherries (the yellow midwestern fruit, not chopped up sweet cherries), mint, and candied grapefruit zest (plus superfluous but delicious sugar cookie bits). I was WOWED by the amazing and attentive service! Just like in all of the reviews I’ve read here, the food was beyond incredible and the way you are treated at Essie’s really doesn’t compare to any other local dining experience. The menu choices were unique and everything had such a full flavor. I enjoyed one bite to the next from the “nibbles” to the main dish and even dessert. It was extremely refreshing to be somewhere and be treated with care from beginning to end. I couldn’t believe that Chef Brandon took the time to get to know each guest as well as have the time to do such excellent work behind the scenes. Essie’s is a gem of a place. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend!

We loved our visit and meal. Service was first rate. Enjoyed the Hudson Valley Mule cocktail. Adored the dinners: We had pork osso bucco, escolar and the goat meat bolognese. First class meals. The mixed berry dessert with tarragon was mouth watering. Great restaurant.

We recentlt held a family function at Essies, the food was spectacular,warm environment, with exceptional services. I strongly recommend you go and share in the superb dinning experience Esssie's offer, you won't be dissapointed!

Everything I've eaten so far at Essie's has been perfectly cooked, delicious and beautiful. The space is warm and inviting, great bar selections and excellent staff. I can't wait to go back! A must try.
