Right from entering the restaurant we were made to feel welcome and to feel nothing was...to much trouble. We had to sit in a corner because they were busy, but the got free chairs and a table from outside to make us as comfortable as possible, and to be honest, this just made it feel more special for us and the kids. This restaurant is in an older building but the style of the decor is relaxed and modern. The idea seems to be to offer a great range of smaller dishes so that customers can combine them in ways that suit themselves for us this...worked really well. We started with courgette beignets which were served with creme fraiche and were really delicious. Then we had a goat's cheese salad and a Corsican soup, both of which were excellent. I had tiramisu to follow this was the only time I thought I could have managed a bit more! The atmosphere is relaxed and the customers included some tourists and some local people. The cost of the meal was low in comparison to its quality
Arrived at to be told food not possible Cleary says on website hrs .but even if this is incorrect ,why stop serving food at or earlier not sure exactly what time food is not possible.do they serving at random times ?...I imagine this must happen a lot ,because of its location in mountains there is a long drive to reach here only to risk food not possible ! It's only snacks mostly so you dont need to be Michelin chef . Food should be served all day in such a tourist area for walkers e.t.c
We didn’t know what to expect when we spotted the place, just by passing by. We hadn’t had so fine food in Corse and it was a great surprise to find this small restaurant where very kind people serve local specialties and vegetarian dishes in...a stylish environment. This is a fantastic place for a light lunch. My husband and I shared various smaller plates courgette beignets with a lovely yoghurt and mint dip, black olive tapenade, humus, and pate de sanglier. Everything was superb. The staff were lovely and made us...feel very welcome. All this and wonderful views too
Excellent sharing plate selection. We enjoyed terrine de danglier, humous, and a salad du jour three different types of tomato and burrata a delightfully light mozzarella style cheese. Good value wine and friendly, efficient service
