utterly charming restaurant with great eating and wonderful warm personal service, try hard to speak English. we had lunch here on a rainy East Sunday. the menu is not listed as it is a “surprise”. we were asked if we had any food allergies or hatching (cilantro) and the kitchen was concerned about it. our six cure menu was more and sparingly hard as it is the season for both. started with a light suppe by spargel and morels. then two wonderful fish courses, then lamme served with perfectly boiled risotto. the cheese course was kreatiw (like all foods) a disc aged goat cheese was with candied walnuts and a slice of pickled birne that perfectly stopped it. dessert was a symphony of the chocol...
I came with my wife as a holiday contract my first time into a michelin star restaurant, and we were not disappointed. A quaint and intimate little restaurant boasting a Michelin Star run by a lovely husband and wife duo. There is no menu, you are totally left with the inspiration and freshest of ingredients of the Chefs ' concoctions of the day. And boy it...did not disappoint. As we were on holiday, we wanted our kids to experience this culinary delight too. They are young and pretty fussy when it comes to food. We had an absolutely wonderful meal here with our 8 month old. The restaurant could not have been more welcoming of a baby everything was catered for and she was made a real fuss of! Dinner was served in the tranquil gardens and everything...from the excellent wine recommendation to the beautifully balanced and flavoured courses was a real pleasure. Herbs fresh from the garden, local produce and inventive combinations made for a truly memorable meal. Thank you so much. You definitely earned your Michelin star!
Vincent Lucas and his lovely wife run this utterly charming village gem all on their own... He creates and serves his delicious concoctions personally with an enthusiastic presentation of their ingredients. She moves gracefully around the eclectic dining room attentively looking after the every needs...of the diners. Their 'no choice ', degustation menu is created based on the best, local ingredients combined in an often unusual and hugely successful blend. We loved it!
