My power went off again on I blustery August evening in my home town of Oolong hence my custard was off. I had no other planned intention except to hike to the nearest restaurant of Schnitzel across the border in Victoria. I quite enjoyed my visit to Etto Pasta Bar in Malvern. An oh so casual, almost lunch vibes, establishment that serves quick and hot pasta in a fresh setting with cute decor. Our meals came out in less than 10 minutes, and were portioned well. The pasta was perfectly Al dente and is clearly freshly homemade. An issue that I have had in the past with homemade pasta is that it can be gluggy/stick together if not allowed enough time to dry (if a restaurant is in a hurry to get food out especially . It's rare I give 5 5 for a take away fast food place but it's stepped up a lot over the past year so deleted the last review and re reviewed. <br <br Lots of seating inside and the staff on are friendly and happy. They make it to order here unlike my experience at Southland and it's always fresh. <br <br Three of us came in over this weekend and had all chicken I asked for well done and they did it perfectly. <br <br That honey mustard sauce is seriously good basic wrap with honey mustard is a winner. <br <br Chips here are streets ahead of next door. We went to the store Etto Pasta Bar in Malvern yesterday, staff are so friendly. I asked them to cook just half a serving of pasta coz I don’t want to eat too much carbs. She recommended me the low carbs version of pasta which is zucchini noodles with garlic tomatoes olive oil sauce. The flavors is so good and delicious. Thanks for the recommendation and allowing me to enjoy pasta all the time now. Will Definitely be back !

Many choices you will have! The pasta I had was chewy and tender. Kids menu was nearly as much as normal size! The restaurant is quite casual so you can take friends or family.
